About Your Coaches

Head Coach Blake Miller

Blake has been involved with Athletics his entire life and in San Diego for over 14 years.  Blake participated in football, wrestling and lacrosse as a kid and throughout high school and went on to become a NCAA Div. III All American in Track and Field.

Since moving to San Diego over 14 years ago, Blake remains an avid athlete and has been coaching and organizing runners and running groups for over 8 years.  Blake developed the successful running club for VAVi Sport and Social club from the ground up over 5 years ago.  Now with over 250+ runners each season (2x seasons per year) and seeing over 1,200 runners through the program, Blake remains the head coach.

Blake’s number one goal is to provide a well organized training group that runs right, trains well and has fun while doing it.

Our Friends and Families

Our spouses are runners too . . . surprise, surprise!  Much our livelihood is geared around running.  We have spouses who are runners, friends who are runners and family members who are runners.

Whether it’s partaking in our organized running clubs, going to cheer on racers at local marathons, or even taking “Marathon Vacations” to hang out, run and have fun.
